Tahoe Waterman’s youth paddle camps are designed for children ages 7–12, giving them a full day of supervised outdoor adventure on beautiful Lake Tahoe. Our experienced instructors lead every activity with a focus on water safety, skill growth, and lasting confidence—from their first paddle stroke to new friendships on the beach.

Watergrom Camp welcomes ages 7 - 12 years old
Junior Waterman Skill Training Camp welcomes ages 13-17 years old

The camp is open to all kids ages 7-17. We would love to have your child join us for an exciting and fun-filled summer camp experience! Contact us for additional information or questions you may have.

Stand-up paddleboard, outrigger canoe, surfski, Water safety, swimming, environmental education, personal floatation device, coaching and mentorship, and more. Additionally, for the Junior Waterman Training, we incorporate breath control training with an Eastshore diving outing and first aid and CPR.

Spend time at the beach, making new friends, paddling fundamentals, water awareness and safety, swimming fundamentals and skills, athletic skills, environmental education, confidence, strength, and resilience games.

The Juniors Waterman Mon-Thurs, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m
Meet and greet, Daily warm-up, daily skills sessions divided into approximately 30 minutes sessions per station, the day ends with a daily call to mind Q & A.

Lunch is not provided & available to purchase at check-out upon registration - Waterman Cafe features a full breakfast and lunch organic menu on location.

We recommend having the following items for our youth programs: sunscreen, a towel, a bathing suit, a change of clothing, a water bottle, lunch and snacks, swim goggles (diving mask for the Juniors), a wetsuit, or a wetsuit shirt. Most required items are available to purchase at Waterman.

The camp cost is $595

We strongly recommend having basic swimming skills or at the least, the participant is required to enjoy spending time in the water and be willing to learn swimming skills. A life vest (PFD) is recommended for most paddle sports activities and the PFDs are available for the less experienced swimmers at all times.

Watermans Landing's public beach is not a lifeguarded beach. The Watergrom camp is staffed with instructors and water safety supervising the skills stations.

The water temperature near the surface generally warms to 62 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (18 to 21 degrees Celsius) during July, August, and September. The air temperature can vary between 40 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit within a 24-hour period (4 to 32 degrees Celsius)

Quality coaching and mentorship, clearly structured skill progression and instruction, a positive, caring, and supportive environment, top-of-the-line equipment, pure fun, and inspiration on and off the water.

Programs refund policy. The Camps are NON-REFUNDABLE. Payment is due in full at the time of registration, NO REFUND will be issued, credit for future programs can only occur because of injury, and approval from the administration will be validated with medical documentation.

Private sessions at your lakefront location are available upon reservation and staff availability. We also offer a 2-hour long mini-session at Waterman for underprivileged youth groups and kids in needs organizations.
